GreenPowerMonitor will attend REPlus 2024 in Anaheim, CA

GreenPowerMonitor will attend REPLus 2024 at Anaheim, USA. !

GreenPowerMonitor will attend REPlus, to be held from September 9 to 12 in Anaheim, CA. As a leading provider of renewable energy management solutions, we are excited to showcase our latest innovations and expertise in the solar, wind and storage energy sector.

RE+ 2024 brings the modern energy industry together to foster a cleaner future and marks its 20th year as the largest and most comprehensive event in North America for the clean energy industry. What began as Solar Power International (SPI) has evolved into RE+, uniting an extensive alliance of renewable energy leaders for multiple days of programming and networking opportunities.

Highlights of the event

GPM Horizon

One of the highlights of our participation will be the demonstration of our flagship product, GPM Horizon.

The multi-technology interface of GPM Horizon enables performance optimization through power curve analysis, constructive insights through module dashboards and customisable reports. Within the Horizon solar interface, you can also utilize a Waterfall chart, allowing you to view the variations in energy output from the initial budgeted amount to the final actual energy production, highlighting the various gains and losses.

GPM On-site solutions

  • GPM SCADA – In-Plant Controller for utility-scale facilities capable of managing projects with over 1 million variables.
  • GPM Hybrid PPC – Explore GPM Hybrid PPC, the latest addition to GPM on-site solutions designed to address the increased complexity of hybrid power plants, which produce power from multiple centrally controlled sources like Photovoltaic (PV) or battery energy storage systems (BESS). The Hybrid PPC architecture accounts with GPM’s Power Plant Controller (PPC) software service, ensuring grid compliance at the Point of Interconnection (POI) and managing active power by distributing it between the PV plant and BESS.  Download the Hybrid PPC whitepaper here

RE+ 2023 Take aways

The growth of renewable energy sources, especially storage, in the USA

  • Owners and developers are preparing to start new plants, especially for solar and storage. In particular, discussions on storage is hugely popular and appears to be on the rise.
  • EPC’s are continuing to grow their renewables division to keep up with the industry growth. O&M companies are increasing their activity, as ageing assets need maintenance. New software companies are sprouting up to help with all aspects of the business.
  • Finding skilled and experienced personnel to expand internal operations at the same rate that the market is expanding is a challenge for many businesses. A wide range of people in the sector are dissatisfied with the ways in which their companies operate and with their inability to keep pace with the growth expectations.

In summary, our experience at RE+ Events were both inspiring and informative. It strengthened our conviction that solar energy and storage is essential to create a sustainable future.

We are boosting asset reliability with machine learning algorithms in predictive maintenance.

At GreenPowerMonitor (GPM), we’re at the forefront of driving asset reliability through the power of machine learning algorithms. Our expertise lies in harnessing the potential of predictive diagnostics, where machine learning becomes a game-changer in optimizing renewable energy assets. Through innovative approaches outlined in our recent article, “Boost Asset Reliability: Humanizing Machine Learning in Predictive Diagnostics,” we showcase how these algorithms can revolutionize asset management. By analyzing vast amounts of data, our machine learning models predict potential anomalies and issues well in advance, enabling proactive maintenance strategies that enhance asset performance and reliability. With GPM, you can trust in cutting-edge technology to maximize the potential of your renewable energy investments.

Advanced analytics for solar asset monitoring.

Horizon Gemini’s advanced analytics module automatically detects under-performance, downtime, and other issues to enhance asset performance, reliability and profitability. Some of the most relevant features it offers are; Waterfall chart, which allows to visualize the the variations in energy output from the initial budgeted amount to the final actual energy production, highlighting the various gains and losses. Availability, allows to track the availability of all devices to detect potential improvement of operational tasks. IPI, Where the Investor Performance Index compares the actual production to your original budget, allowing you to assess and follow up your ROI.
